Think of most long-term and long (self)serving individuals in the House and the Senate who promised the “world” and failed to deliver. Every once in a while, a true “interrupter” comes along and faces crushing headwinds from within the walls of government. The people’s voice no longer matters. From George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Barack Obama, and Joe Biden. These individuals are members of a club you and I will never be invited to join.
