One of the most misquoted Bible verses is found in First Timothy Chapter 6 verse 10 “For the love of money is the root of all evil.” Many misquote by saying “money is the root of all evil,” which is not true. In truth, the best way to describe what St. Paul is saying is to understand that it is really an unnatural “LUST” for money, wealth, and power being the foundation of much of the world’s evil, sorrow, moral decay, and even death.
