It is said that author and humorist Mark Twain once stated something to the effect that “The reports of my death are greatly exaggerated.” Many people think that over-the-air radio is dead and that only the Internet is viable. While it is true that many younger people listen far less to radio than previous generations, radio is far from “dead and gone.” Today, on the first half of the program, Bob looks at the impact radio still has in the world today, including shortwave radio. On the second half of the program, Bob shares his thoughts on how the world will never go back to the way it was. Even though that sounds bad, there is still opportunity.
